In high-speed rail applications, the company has developed EMU technology for rapid passenger railway service. Its “China Star” EMU is configured with two power cars and nine trailer cars—including first-class seating, second-class seating, and a bar car—and is designed for a maximum running speed of 270 km/h.
The EMU platform adopts advanced AC-DC-AC electric traction with a push–pull arrangement, and is developed through extensive application of both national and international advanced technologies. This integrated approach supports strong overall technological performance aligned with advanced levels among comparable products.
