ZHEJIANG THERMAL POWER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (ZTPC) is a professional and general contractor focused on the construction and maintenance of thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, green energy projects, and power network projects. Established in 1958, the company operates as a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CEEC), supporting complex, large-scale energy infrastructure across a broad range of project types.
ZTPC’s capabilities span full-scope execution, from engineering and installation through commissioning, overhaul, and long-term maintenance. The company holds a wide portfolio of contractor qualifications and licenses covering electric power construction, thermal power equipment installation, environmental protection and pipeline installation, as well as electric power facilities installation, maintenance, and commissioning, including pressure equipment and pressurized pipeline works.
Backed by specialized resources in welding, steel structure manufacturing, oversized equipment transportation, and engineering software development, ZTPC has delivered extensive power-generation capacity. Over decades of delivery, ZTPC has participated in landmark industry projects, including early nuclear island and conventional island works, the commissioning of advanced thermal power units, and the construction of the world’s first AP1000 nuclear power project at Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant.

Undertook Phase I of Qinshan conventional island nuclear plant, the first of its kind in mainland China.
Participated in pipeline installation work for the Dayawan nuclear island project.
Undertook Indonesia RAPP self-supplied coal-fired power plant (1×125MW units).
Commissioned the first set used in mainland China at Huadian Banshan Power Plant.
Took on construction and installation work for Labuhan Angin Coal-fired Power Station (2×15MW units) in North Sumatra, Indonesia.
Commissioned the first set of super-critical thermal power generation units into Yuhuan Huaneng power plant.
Assumed overhaul and maintenance for Cilacap (Tjilatjap) Power Station and Palembang Power Station.
Works handed over in September 2009.
Undertook the world’s first AP1000 nuclear power project: Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant.
