Testing Methodology
Differential Pressure Method
The instrument operates by clamping a prepared sample between upper and lower chambers, followed by a system-wide vacuum. Test gas is introduced into the upper chamber to create a constant pressure differential. As gas permeates from the high-pressure side to the lower-pressure side, the system monitors the pressure change to calculate the transmission rate.
