Installation & Maintenance
Installation Requirements
- Install vertically
- Vertical pipe systems: install at the highest point
- Horizontal pipe systems: install at the end
- Tighten upper end nut after installation
- Recommended: Install with a block valve for easier removal and maintenance
Cleaning and Troubleshooting
If exhaust leakage occurs due to dirt blockage, immediately unscrew the nut to clean the component. The valve can be reinstalled once cleaning is complete. Utilizing a block valve during initial installation allows the system to remain sealed while the exhaust valve is removed for service.
