Founded in November 1988 in Liuyue District, Henggang Town, Shenzhen, Guangdong, as Shenzhen Xinyi Autoglass Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited.
1989First automotive glass line in operation
The first automobile glass production line was put into operation in June 1989.
1995Relocation to Henggang Industrial Zone
Xinyi Automobile Glass (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. moved to Henggang 228 Industrial Zone, Shenzhen, Guangdong.
1997North America subsidiary established
Xinyi Glass (North America) Co., Ltd. was established in Ontario, Canada to develop the automobile glass market in North America.
1998Entered architectural glass
The first architectural glass production line was put into operation, marking entry into architectural glass.
2000Americas subsidiary established
