As the STIHL Group’s only production plant in the Asia-Pacific region and its second largest production plant worldwide, the facility supports international supply with an expanded product line built around a build-to-order approach.
The Qingdao operation manufactures a broad range of entry and semi-professional products, including chain saws, brush cutters, hedge trimmers, battery products, and high-pressure cleaners. Since initiating brushcutter production in 2006, the plant has rapidly broadened its portfolio to meet diverse customer needs.
The factory operates an environmental and occupational health and safety management system aligned with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, covering processes and activities for the assembly of chain saws, power tools, and related accessories.
