Supporting Infrastructure for Crude Oil Pipelines
This water supply reservoir serves as critical support infrastructure for the China-Myanmar oil and gas pipeline terminal located on Langley Island in the Bay of Bengal. Designed for multi-purpose utility, the reservoir handles crude oil terminal water requirements while simultaneously supporting the water needs of local populations, livestock, and agricultural irrigation. The project was executed under an EPC contract signed in February 2011 and completed in November 2011.
