YANGZHOU YAXING MOTOR COACH CO.,LTD. (Asiastar) is a bus and coach manufacturer and a key part of Weichai Group’s Yangtze River Delta strategy. Founded in 1949, the company has long supported the development of China’s automobile industry and has built a track record of pioneering bus products across multiple segments.
The company reinforces product performance and quality management through advanced vehicle R&D and manufacturing technologies, including experience gained via a joint venture with Mercedes-Benz. Following Weichai Group’s strategic restructuring in 2011, Asiastar established a power assembly system and developed a distinctive power assembly production chain in China to strengthen its core competitiveness.
Asiastar operates two production bases in Yangzhou and Xiamen. The Yangzhou base includes first-class bus production lines and an R&D center, while the Xiamen base—located in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone—focuses on high-tech new energy and low-emission luxury buses for export to developed markets including Europe, America, and Australia. Its product portfolio spans long-distance, intercity, tourism, school, and city buses, as well as environmentally friendly energy-saving models, luxury recreational vehicles, and special vehicles.
