NEW NORTHEAST ELECTRIC GROUP HIGH VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR CO.,LTD. (NHVS) specializes in the sales and manufacturing of high-voltage switchgear products. Its core offerings include gas insulated switchgear (GIS), SF6 circuit breakers and high-voltage AC generator circuit breakers (GCB), serving voltage classes from 72.5 kV to 1100 kV.

Within the group’s manufacturing system, dedicated units focus on key transmission and distribution components, including outdoor disconnectors from 40.5 kV to 1100 kV and a wide range of indoor 10 kV disconnectors and earthing switches. The broader group also covers shunt capacitors and compensation devices, enclosed busduct systems, current transformers for hollow insulators, and local control cubicles—forming a comprehensive portfolio for high-voltage applications.

The product range is stated to cover more than 40 series, 190 types and 1350 specifications, and has been exported to more than 20 countries and regions. Manufacturing is carried out in accordance with China National Standard (GB) and IEC standards, supported by ISO 9001 certification. NHVS also holds stated aptitudes including pressure vessel design and manufacturing, production aptitude for 550 kV GIS from ABB Switzerland, and first-class enterprise aptitude by the National Measurement Bureau.

With strong research, development and manufacturing capabilities, NHVS has supplied extra-high-voltage GIS for major domestic projects, including 800 kV GIS that has been put into operation, and orders for 1100 kV GIS for an EHV transmission and distribution test demonstration project. The company has also delivered 550 kV GIS operating in the Three Gorges Project and has received numerous contracts for key national projects, supported by a customer service regulation system and a record of awards at state, ministry and provincial levels.
