Sunway Co., Ltd is a Chinese manufacturer focused on high-end special cable solutions, producing products such as power cables, control cables, computer cables and nuclear cables. Based in Leshan National Hi-tech Development Zone, Sichuan Province, the company serves demanding application fields including nuclear energy, smart grid, rail transit, and military and civil integration.

Sunway operates two intelligent manufacturing bases in Sichuan and Anhui, with a total area of more than 570,000 square meters. The company is equipped with more than 500 sets of production and testing equipment imported from Germany, France, Switzerland and Belgium, supporting the manufacture of a broad portfolio of cables, including cross-linked cables with rated voltage up to 500 kV and cables for nuclear power plants, rail traffic, solar photovoltaic, mining, marine, wind power, offshore oil platforms, and military and aerospace applications.

Innovation is supported by two provincial-level enterprise technology centers and two provincial-level engineering and technological research centers, as well as an R&D group of 290 people. Sunway maintains industry–university–research cooperation with institutions such as Shanghai Cable Research Institution and Wuhan High Voltage Cable Institute, and partners with universities including Sichuan University and Xi’an Jiaotong University. The company holds 42 national invention patents and 82 utility model patents, and has received multiple national and provincial recognitions, including National High-tech Enterprise and rankings among China’s top 100 enterprises in both the machinery industry and the electric wire and cable industry.
