In hydropower, Dongfeng designs and manufactures turbine generator sets with unit capacity up to 150MW, covering key turbine types such as Francis, Kaplan, Pelton, bulb, and other configurations including pumped storage solutions. The company also supplies steam turbine generators (including conventional steam turbine, TRT and gas turbine generator solutions) as well as wind turbine generators.
Backed by dedicated R&D capabilities, Dongfeng supports product development with advanced engineering tools and specialized test infrastructure, including a national-level doubly-fed wind power generator test station and an electric drive system test center. With self-managed import and export rights, Dongfeng serves international customers and has delivered equipment to more than 30 countries and regions across North America, Asia, Europe, and beyond.

The company supplies conventional steam turbine generators as well as TRT and gas turbine generator solutions, including cogeneration steam turbine generator sets with unit capacity up to 60MW.
Dongfeng manufactures wind turbine generator sets with unit capacity from 1MW to 3MW, supported by dedicated test and verification capabilities.
Dongfeng maintains strong R&D capabilities, serving as an auxiliary research unit of the national “863” program and as Sichuan’s research center for high-efficiency electrical engineering technology. Product development is supported by specialized engineering teams and advanced design tools, including large-scale CAD workstations and CATIA 3D software.
Quality assurance is supported by dedicated testing resources, including a national-level doubly-fed wind power generator test station and an electric drive system test center for product testing and verification.
With self-managed import and export rights for mechanical and electrical products, Dongfeng has exported to more than 30 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, Turkey, North Korea, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Cuba and Chile.
